Inclusive Lawyering

The ACT Law Society’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee is excited to invite you to their free lunchtime webinar series, “Inclusive Lawyering”.

Inclusive Lawyering will be a series of 30 minute interactive online presentations focusing on inclusion and diversity issues relating to the legal profession. Webinars will be held at 12.30pm on the second Thursday of the month.

The webinars will also be an opportunity for legal professionals and law students who are interested in inclusion and diversity issues to connect with like-minded peers.

Topics for discussion may include:

  • legal issues that impact on people facing barriers to justice
  • working with clients with a range of backgrounds and needs
  • making your legal practice more inclusive
  • policy and law reform relating to inclusion and diversity issues

Topics for each webinar will be released one week before each session. Members may choose to claim CPD points as per the CPD Guidelines
